  3. This rectangle displays a short description of the button or item under the mouse cursor.

  5. Grow Box

  7. Click and drag here to make the Queue Window a different size.

  9. Sound Description Parameters
  10.  
  11. This list shows critical parameters that define the sound format and the file.  Double clicking will launch the Hack Window where these parameters can be modified.

  13. Sound File List or Queue
  14.  
  15. This is a list of files that SoundMachine can play.  Double clicking on any sound file will make it the current one and initiate playing.

  17. Copy Button
  18.  
  19. Copies the currently selected sound files into some clip memory.
  20.  
  21. Paste Button
  22.  
  23. Copies the sound files in some clip memory to the sound list.  The insertion is made immediately before the top selected sound file or at the bottom if no sound files are currently selected.

  25. Select All Button
  26.  
  27. Makes all the sound files in the list selected.

  29. Move Down Button (Next)
  30.  
  31. Changes the current sound file to the one immediately after the current (indicated by the arrow).

  33. Move Up Button (Previous)

  35. Changes the current sound file to the one immediately before the current (indicated by the arrow).

  37. Trash Button

  39. Remove the selected sound files from the list.

  41. Undo Button

  43. Undoes the last editing command (when possible).

  45. Help Button

  47. This button enables or disables the help balloons.

  51. Displays a dialog box you use to locate and open a sound file or SoundMachine Sound List.

  53. Toggle Selection Button

  55. This button toggles the selection state of all the files in the sound list.

  57. Advance Button

  59. This button enables or disables the advance play facility, i.e., once a given file has finished playing, the play is moved onto the next lower sound file in the list.

  63. This button enables or disables the repeat all facility.

  65. Save List
  66.  
  67. Click here to save the list of sounds to a file.  This file contains aliases pointing to each of the sound files listed, and does not save or copy the actual sound files.
